Dante's Inferno SGML
Visualization
Spring 1997 IATH perl generated VRML from SGML The lines in this image represent the 34 cantos of Dante's Inferno, and the points indicate individual lines of the poem. The triangular markers represent occurences of tags that were selectable via an HTML form. The resulting VRML world could then be navigated via a VCR widget. |

included text panes and a basic linking structure that obviated the need
